Specialized Services

I offer specialized services for like EMDR therapy for those looking to process past trauma and Walk-and-Talk therapy for those who prefer a more active, outdoor setting for reflection. Additionally, intensive sessions are an option for those looking for deeper, more focused therapeutic work. Whatever path you choose, I’m here to support you on your journey to healing and growth.

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a therapeutic approach that helps individuals process and heal from past traumatic experiences. Through guided eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation, EMDR helps reframe negative beliefs and emotional responses tied to trauma, allowing clients to feel less triggered and more empowered. It’s particularly effective for individuals dealing with anxiety, PTSD, or unresolved trauma, helping them move forward with greater emotional resilience and clarity.

  • Walk-and-talk therapy combines the benefits of traditional talk therapy with the physical movement of walking outdoors. The bilateral movement naturally stimulates both sides of the brain, which can aid in trauma processing and help individuals access deeper emotional insights. This approach is especially helpful for neurodivergent individuals or those who struggle with direct eye contact, as it provides a more comfortable setting for open conversation. Walking outdoors also promotes relaxation, reduces anxiety, and encourages a sense of grounding, making it easier to navigate personal challenges and emotional growth.

  • Intensive sessions provide more time for clients to explore complex issues in greater depth. For neurodivergent individuals, these longer sessions allow for more flexibility and less pressure, making it easier to process emotions and ideas at your own pace. For couples or families, intensive sessions offer the space needed to address deeper relational dynamics and work through challenging topics without feeling rushed. This extra time can foster better understanding, enhance communication, and help you make meaningful progress in a supportive, focused environment.

Intensive sessions are typically 2-3 hours each and are often scheduled over a condensed period of 2-3 days, with each day consisting of several hours of therapy, including breaks. Contact me for more details and pricing.

However, you can always add time to your 50-minute session in 30-minute blocks for an additional 50% of the agreed upon rate per block.
